"Dukes Palace hotel fulfilled all of our requirements, unfortunately the centre of Bruges caterers just for tourists and this was a great disappointment to us. When we travel we wish to experience how the local people live, eat and drink and unfortunately this was not accessible without moving outside of the tourist zone. Such a shame. Ulm in southern Germany has been a much more enjoyable visit. We will return to Ulm but will not need to visit Bruges ever again."

"Loved,loved this hotel. The location is perfect. The hotel itself is amazing. It is like a home rather than the impersonal look of hotels. Our room looked over a canal with 2 big windows, a comfortable chair and plenty of room including an huge bathroom unlike most European guest rooms. What a treat the whole experience was! "Just a block from a main shopping and dining area, this was a perfectly located and quite lovely place to stay. Super comfortable bed, excellent water pressure/ bath. The only funny thing is due to family health crisis while we were there the lobby sometimes had to be closed. The breakfast included was the best hotel breakfast ever! Definitely a place we’d go back to."

"We had such an amazing stay at NH Belfort Ghent! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic. "We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

"The General Manager Laurence was a true gentleman. The hotel is situated in a great location, and the perfect setting to explore the city. As a family we did make use of the bar area, and breakfast facilities which were perfect. The kids managed to run around and tire themselves in the lobby... we may have not witnessed the night life of Ghent, but if you're a family looking for a comfortable stay, this is your hotel."
