"The Hotel is beautifully decorated and landscaped. The planting on the Terracotta side makes it feel private and luxurious. Staff were great. Really enjoyed the food. However would not do the half board again. I usually like the option to be able to have what you want but the rules were complicated and to spend your €75 pp you had to overeat."

"The location of this hotel is amazing. This is an older hotel so you can see where redo’s have been done. One thing was a sea view, for most of the rooms, will have a roofline in view. It still allows for a spectacular view when standing. Great stay, fun village to visit."

"Lovely, stylish hotel in beautiful, peaceful location. Generous breakfast and good- quality evening dining available, though there are also a handful of cafe/bar/restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. Staff without exception friendly and helpful, with good English. Very relaxing atmosphere. Anyone interested in birds, nature and ecology will love the lagoon reserve, with its varied habitats, and if you’re willing to walk a little, you can find huge stretches of glorious beach all to yourself - though beware the Atlantic swells if it’s windy. Half an hour’s scenic drive takes you down the coast to pretty Porto Covo with its cliffs, coves, cafes and gift shops, whilst beautiful Évora is a couple of hours away and makes a lovely change for a day out. Or just chill on the hotel’s rooftop pool/bar terrace and wander down to the beach if you want to stretch your legs. The lagoon is shallow, with no waves, so good for wallowing or splashing about with small people. There’s a lifeguard on the Atlantic side and warning flags to indicate swimming conditions. We loved it all…"

"We had a wonderful stay, the suite was spacious and beautiful. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were stunning. The restaurant was great too, 5 stars all round 😃 one suggestion for QDC, it would be great to have a more casual/snack bar option for lunches or dinners, to give an extra option"

"The outdoor pool was large and accessible. The breakfast was plentiful and also included a hot breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was a family friendly hotel. Rooms were clean. Slightly outdated hotel but we enjoyed our stay. Would return. Good car parking. Reception is 24 hour apparently."
