"Quit place to stay "

"Neat little Mom and Pop hotel on the edge of Shawnee National Forest. Very few perks, no breakfast or pool, but solid internet and there's a great BBQ place right down the road. We will be back."

"This was a very nice older property in need of a refresh. But being such, was clean, the front desk was attentive, the price of the stay much lower than chain hotel prices and it was convenient to some restaurants and not too far from downtown. I would say, all in all, it was a very nice two star, older motel and I would definitely stay there again."

"Stayed for one night. Checking in was easy. The room was clean bathroom clean. Parking very easy. McDonald is in short walking distance. It was quiet during the night. We left before breakfast. Front desk was friendly."

"Golconda Mansion House was amazing! Cool, huge old Victorian house right by the Ohio River that was beautifully decorated. Many different kinds of wine and beer. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. "
