"great place to stay and good location"

"Stayed at this location for 3 days and had a great time. I saw where some people complained about the size of the room but it was spacious to me ( 1 king size bed). The hotel was in walking distance from a lot of the places we wanted to go to. Only down side was that the room did not have a closet but still was extremely nice. On arrival there was a gift bag on the bed- never had that before. I would definitely visit again"

"I was just looking for a simple small room with one queen bed. I didn't need extras because we were just planning on sleeping one night and leaving early. I don't like heights so they accommodated me with a second floor room. They were awesome. The only thing that I didn't like was the cost of using the valet service. We had them park our car when we arrived to check in and bring it out to us when we checked out. It would be nice if they charged according to how many times you used the services."

"Our room was uncomfortably warm. They explained that the hotel is old and they put either the air conditioner on or the heat on in the hotel and since it was going to be cool the next day they had turned the heat on to begin heating the hotel for the next day. They did give us a fan and opened the windows for us. It was difficult to sleep due to the warm temperature. Also our room did not lock from the outside. The door could be opened by simply pushing it open. It made us very nervous to leave our things in the room unattended. Someone did come to help us close and lock the door before we went to bed. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake and grant park."

"Customer service was beyond unacceptable! it was outright disrespectful from the very first interaction. I was met with attitude immediately, and it only got worse throughout my stay. When my flight time changed, I asked to cancel my wake-up call. Instead of resolving a simple request, I was told they “don’t know how” to cancel it in their own system and was instructed to “just unplug all the phones.” That response alone shows a complete lack of training and professionalism. To understand their procedure, I asked a reasonable follow-up: if I didn’t answer the wake-up call, would someone check on me as a courtesy? The response I received was shockingly rude they said no one would “come break down your door.” That kind of dismissive and sarcastic remark is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The room conditions were just as bad. It reeked of cigarette smoke, and even more concerning, there was a plastic bag placed over the smoke detector to prevent it from going off. This is not just negligence , it’s a serious safety hazard. The fact that housekeeping failed to remove it shows a complete disregard for guest safety. Cleanliness was also far below standard. The room had visible dirty spots, and I woke up with an itchy, red eye, which raises serious concerns about hygiene. This was not just a poor experience as it was a failure across the board: customer service, cleanliness, and basic safety. I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere."

"Parking was easy and barely a 5 minute walk! Staff were very nice and accommodating. Only thing I would say is both days we were there , there was no water in any vending machines so that was kind of hard since we had to leave the property to just get water. Overall it was a good stay!"

"I loved this hotel I’m saving it because we are coming back. We have a special needs child having a fridge and microwave is important in the room. Pool on the 8th floor indoor perfect. Staff was great "
