"Cute and peaceful. Our room faced the meadow and low mountain beyond so we heard the chirping of frogs all evening. The owners are clearly catching up on deferred maintenance but our room was in perfect shape. The staff were attentive and friendly. We will come back!"
"This place is a perfect location as it’s right at the trailhead. As a mountain biker who sleeps poorly while camping this is one of my fave places to stay when coming to ride in the area. It’s close enough to town to get a bite to eat, but far enough that it feels like the middle of nowhere. Big rooms, outdoor patios, and free home cooked breakfast keep me coming back every year. "
"If your are going to the soda springs ski resort it is very close. Less than maybe 10 minutes drive but the best is that it’s so close to Donner lake and the beach there. We will definitely go there summer time to appreciate the summer activities by the lake.
I have 3 kids and they lived the 3 layer bunk bed.
It was perfect for us
"
"This place is fine and it served our needs for an overnight near the ski resorts. The room is small, the ceilings are low, the walls are thin, and the staff was not overly welcoming. The continental breakfast was sufficient- although the refrigeration in the rooms and lobby was OK- so my yogurt wasn’t as cold as I normally like. I did appreciate that the Inn was close to a McDonald’s, CVS, and pizzeria. I would stay here again, but it wouldn’t be my first or second choice. "
"Juan who works the front desk and more was a gem. Made me feel so welcomed and relaxed after I had a very stressful day. The whole environment was homey, safe, and comfortable. I will be staying here again!"
