Excellent hotel/lodge for a stay in Siem Reap

Beautiful lodges with a beautiful yard and swimming pool. Very quiet and relaxing in comfortable lodges, great services from the hotel personnel all around. Conveniently located and close enough to the night market with a short tuk-tuk ride.

Schönes Ambiente in ruhiger Wohlfühlen-Oase

Nach den Besichtigungen haben wir uns auf die Sala Lodge gefreut, um uns von der Hitze am Pool oder den gut klimatisierten Bungalow zu erholen. Alles mit tollen Ambiente, in üppiger Vegetation und gutem Restaurant - wenn wieder einmal Angkor, sicher auch wider die Sala Lodge!

This is most definitely the best hotel in town. Exceptional service from well polished staff. Can't fault anything. The only comfortable bed in Cambodia.

a magical respite in siem reap

if you don`t want to stay in a hotel which could be anywhere in the world ( and you are in cambodia) stay here. understated, perfectly recreating old cambodian architecture, this small hotel also has a hospitable staff.

快適過ぎる古民家ステイ

素晴らしいホテルです。築100年の古民家を移築したビラですが、設備は申し分なく、清掃が行き届いていますので快適に過ごせました。スタッフの心温まる接客も好感が持てます。ミニマムなホテルだからこその顔の見える対応がアットホームで連泊していると門を入った瞬間に我が家に帰宅した気分になります。レストランの料理はクメール料理をフレンチのアレンジで頂け、お味も日本人の口にとても合いました。ビラからプールは数歩ですので、躊躇なくプールサイドチェアに横になれます。しかも客室が少ないためプライベートプールと言っても過言ではないほどです。次回もこのホテルを利用する予定です。

Natural and peaceful luxury

Sala lodges is a haven from the busy temples. The traditional houses are beautiful and private. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. The gardens are gorgeous and listening to the frogs and geckos at night very soothing! We came to see the temples but Sala lodges made our holiday.

Authentic wooden houses

Actual Cambodian wooden houses transplanted from their original location and reassembled/repurposed as hotel rooms in midst of manicured garden. Great concept and execution. Wonderful vibe.

Gemütliches und ruhiges Ambiente. Eine wunderschöne Anlage mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und Getränke, Essen und Frühstück waren jedes Mal ein Highlight. Bei Ausflügen wird man beraten und unterstützt. Herzlich Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit!

Sala Lodge: an oasis in Siem Reap.

The resort is wonderful. Perfect for people who appreciate an individual note. The bungalows charminh,in old Khmer style We could do wonderful tours around Angkor Wat. The staff is very kind and friendly. We could meet the Swiss owner. An impressive personality who also engages in charity in Cambodia.

zeer mooi hotel, boetiekhotel bestaande uit houten huisjes . Het feit dat het houten huisjes zijn , zorgt wel voor het probleem dat er in de kamers talrijke spleten zitten waardoor allerlei insecten binnen kunnen dringen ( vooral muggen ), wat ons een onconfortabele hoeveelheid muggenbeten bezorgde waardoor we toch niet meer echt van onze kamer konden genieten ...

最高でした！

久しぶりにこんなに満足のいくホテルに出会えました。アンコールワットの遺跡も素晴らしかったですが、なにせ暑いので半日も観光すればヘトヘトです。午後はホテルで大半の時間を過ごしました。スタッフのフレンドリーさや何気ない心遣いに感動しました。部屋センスも素晴らしく、どこを見ても写真におさめたくなるような感じです。あえて一つマイナスポイントを挙げるとすると、古い民家を移築して改装した建物なので防音はありません。隣の農家か何かの犬猫、鶏などうるさくて寝にくい夜もありました。

Die Sala Lodges ist kein Hotel im üblichen Sinne. Sie übernachten in einem alten Khmer-Haus/Hütte. 11 Häuser (alles Orginale) stehen in einem sehr schönen Garten. Unter anderem gibt es in diesem Garten auch kleine Reisfelder.Nachts hören sie die Frösche und ab 4.00h morgens singen die buddistischen Mönche die gleich nebenan in einem Kloster wohnen. Für uns war es der perfekte Ort um Ankor Watt zu erkunden.

Rustic Chic

The houses are very rustic and bring u back to olden days. A very different experience. I find the menu variety pretty limited. Especially the breakfast menu, I was only eating bread by day 3. While the staff are very helpful, I was surprised that a few of them staff at the restaurant doesn't quite understand nor speak much English.

スタッフはとても親切で、フレンドリーでした。設備もとても綺麗で、清潔。部屋のミニバーは無料でした。市内中心部までのアクセスも、ホテルのスタッフに頼めば、トゥクトゥクを手配してくれます。また、だいたいホテルを出た前の道にトゥクトゥクが止まっています。中心部まではトゥクトゥクで5分くらいです。帰りは夜発でしたが、帰る前にシャワーを借りることもできました。留意点としては次の二点。蚊がいます。寝る時に蚊帳はありますが、長袖、長ズボンを持っていくとよいです。また虫除けのスプレーは部屋に常備されていますが、刺された場合のために、虫刺され用の薬があるとよいです。あとホテルの近くで夜遅くまで音楽が鳴っていました。一応耳栓はあります。
