"The hotel is a few blocks from the Empress, Government street, bus stop for the 75 line to Butchart Gardens, shops and restaurants (although a little uphill). We arrived before check in time and they were happy to hold our bags. They have a local shuttle which we used one evening to go to Fisherman's Wharf for a sunset whale watching (with Eagle Wing Tours - great also!). There are two restaurants onsite. We rented a suite which was perfect as we were family but still had privacy with the bedroom. There is a kitchenette supplied with dishware, a toaster, microwave, fridge, kettle and Nespresso so you can have some meals "at home." Staff was friendly and helpful, everything was very clean and comfortable -we had a nice view of the back of the Empress. I highly recommend this property, it was a great value for the service and accommodations we received. "
