"Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.

"Property / room was absolutely spotless. Garden was spotless, felt safe due to camera's in the hall way. He was very attentive, is polite and over all a pleasure and we will be back. "Love these older style hotels. There has clearly been recent refurbishment and the reception and staircase look great and in keeping with su a property. The standard room we stayed in was basic and if older style but very clean. Everything worked as expected and we had a great sleep.
As there is no on site restaurant the foyer and downstairs area lack a bit of ambience and I would suggest some music be played to make it a bit more welcoming
