"Room was clean and had microwave fridge washing machine. Shower and toilet were clean. The bed mattress could do with changing as you could feel the springs in it. Entering the front door was tricky as there were no explicit instructions as to how to enter the code. Otherwise there was very good communication regarding the door codes and placement of keys. "It was very lovely staying on the river which offered a cool breeze. Please note there is no air conditioning, fans were provided. I do not feel I received the room I reserved. From the photo's I expected a more private view of river with ability to walk outside and instead I received a second floor, shared balcony exerience. It was nice to sit out and see the river and still pretty private. It is an old hotel and there is no lyft, so expect a lot of stairs. I would not have been able to make it up the stairs with my luggage, without my husband. It was a long walk to go down to the reception desk if you needed anything - no in room phones."

"The check in staff was lovely. Our flight landed prior to the checkin time and staff worked hard to prioritise getting our room ready early for us which was much appreciated after a long overnight flight. The receptionist was very friendly and helped us organise transport to the airport the following day, which was very helpful. We had a coffee in a nice little outside garden space in the sun while we waited. Prices for food and drink were expensive, but I guess that's the norm for a London hotel close to the airport. The bed was comfy and the room was clean, quiet and had all the amenities you would expect."
