"Great location, just 10 minute walk to town. Hotel is clean, comfortable, convenient. Staff is nice, although hardly saw the same person twice in 4 days. A lot of large tour groups staying there so the lobby and breakfast can be a bit crowded and noisy. Would have appreciated a coffee machine in the room. "

"We really enjoyed our four day stay in Queenstown at the Platinum Villas. Our townhome was luxurious, spacious and relaxing with a fireplace and backyard with side views of the lake. The villas are located near the top of Fernhill Rd. which is within a mile walk or drive to the downtown port area. We usually walked downtown but it is a steep uphill back to the villas. The location is perfect as it is quiet and walkable to downtown but removed from the busy tourist traffic of the downtown area. The staff was great for assistance and visitor recommendations. I highly recommend the Platinum Villas for an upscale experience, its views and location while visiting Queenstown. "

"We were there in summer and were underwhelmed by the location. The atmosphere was stunningly high-volume, impersonal. But, if you want in-and-out, sure. It's clean and paid parking works well enough. Staff seem to follow protocols, but the whole "Hi, guys" thing doesn't work well on 60-something-year-olds. ."
