"Service is very good! Tidy and stylish room but the wifi is not working at all not even slowly. And the washroom flushing function is a bit weak too. "
"The hotel is away from the hustling bustling shopping area, but within 10 minutes walk through a residential area to Huagiang North, which could be nice for people who likes quieter area. Hotel is very modern and clean. Staffs are courteous . I stayed in a standard room, which was very spacious and comfortable. "
"Lovely hotel with helpful staff that helped us with taxi rides and extending our stay. The room we got was big enough for our family of 5 and the beds were spacious. We loved the area of the hotel and the ambience was lively. There was a great variety of dining options, markets and the centre attached had coffee places. Even though it was within a gated community, we absolutely loved the atmosphere and seeing Shenzhen come alive and we felt part of the community. We would not hesitate to stay...

Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"All the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Was welcomed by front guest gentlemen Jonathon who helped us with our check in and our requests. "
"Unbeatable location, beautiful property. Room is very spacious with a view overlooking the city. Staff are helpful. We had a very pleasant check in with Clarence Chu at front desk. This gentleman speaks fluent Cantoneses, Mandarin, English and Spanish- impressive.
Our family had 4 rooms reserved. Everyone was pleased with their room. Clarence checked in with us after we got to the room, to make sure things are going well. Just when I thought we won’t see him again. We met him again at lobby and he gave us an umbrella, reminding us it’s rain season. How thoughtful. We would stay there again and hope Clarence will still be there.
Lunch at the Lobby restaurant was also delicious. Staffs are very nice and I personally like the live pianist. Very comforting. Overall a 5 stars experience. "
"The stay was great, once I finally found the hotel. I’ve already reached out to hotels.com to try and get the location updated. The actual hotel is about four blocks away from where it currently shows on hotels.com. It was incredibly difficult to find because so few people speak English. I was only able to find it because there was something that said an intersection of two streets and finally through much translation someone was able to point me in the right direction. Hopefully, hotels.com can get this updated. It was a great hotel and I’m happy I booked it – I would have just liked to have been able to find it easier. "
"Mandarin Oriental is well located between BiJia Mountain and Lianhua Mountain, with walkways directly into both recreational parks. The air quality is superb and the restaurants within the Upper Hills shopping center are also highly recommended by the locals. The Hotel lobby is located on the 78th floor and the reception and guest service staff are outstanding! I have also become a fan of MO as a result of this stay, as the quality of service and the standards they hold are definitely first class. The hotel rooms and facilities all have stunning views of the surrounding areas. The spa also offers excellent selections of massage and relaxation offerings.
The Bay restaurant also has outstanding selections of food from the spring offerings and classical Cantonese food. The hotel staff pays attention to every detail to pamper their guests. Highly recommended! If there was one minor complaint, the TVs in the room need upgrade since the resolution is subpar compared to everything else MO offers to its guests."
