"I am writing to formally dispute a series of unauthorized charges following my stay at the Crowne Plaza Lombard Downers Grove from March 27 to March 29, 2026. My rooms were prepaid via Expedia (Itineraries #73400939577096 and #73401902913251) for a total of $539.26. However, my bank statement currently shows four additional pending transactions from your property totaling $526.28 ($314.60, $105.84, $55.84, and $50.00). These charges were never disclosed, authorized, or explained at any point during my stay. Beyond the financial discrepancy, the quality of service was unacceptable: One bathroom was filthy upon arrival, and the plumbing in the walls knocked loudly for the duration of the three-day stay. On Saturday, while we were napping, front desk staff woke us up to blame my sleeping son for a noise complaint. Despite our own complaints about children running in the halls and beating on doors, your staff refused to review security footage and instead threatened us with fees.
