"Clean room, very comfortable"
Quality Inn Merchants Drive
8/10 Good
"It's an older hotel, and not fancy, but that's not bad. (I'm 63, it's not *that* old.) The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was quite comfortable for my old back, and the staff was very helpful. I recommend it to mature adults who want a quiet place to sleep. It's a good value for the money. There's a Waffle House next door, a gas station with a convenience store right next to that, a cannabis store across the street, a liquor store with a cannabis and cigar shop right behind that, two Mexican restaurants on the block, and an Appleby's nearby. It's also easy for rideshare and delivery drivers to find. There's also a Knoxville Area Transit route about two blocks away on Central Ave. and Knoxville's transit system is very useful, which matters to me. I never had the breakfast in the lobby, I'm not fit for being in public that early, but there was a coffee maker, a microwave, and a mini fridge. The Wi-Fi was sometimes iffy but generally worked okay. Not bad at all. I don't regret it a bit."
