"Well situated for the continental ports, for the price I feel a bit expensive. We had received an email stating no air-con then were told it was working. On arrival at reception the bar area was noisy and felt messy and at breakfast it was fairly chaotic and the three members of staff seemed more interested in gossiping."

"We loved our stay at The Fig Tree. The room was very clean, updated and comfortable. It’s a great location and we really enjoyed the free breakfast. Often times a free breakfast is a buffet where food is sitting out, but we loved being able to order from a menu and it was delicious as well. I would definitely stay here again."

"Great stay! It was just one night before we got on a cruise the next day but definitely a nice spot for a night or more. Comfy bed too! The man at the front desk was super helpful."

"The hotel is well maintain and the public areas are a pleasant place to spend time. Decor/furnishing is fun and good quality. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is not huge, but is a pleasant place to spend some time. Parking is limited. Sadly, I had an issue with dinner and breakfast. The website had stated that their was food available in the evening during peak season, but that was not the case. The website seems to have been updated to reflect this. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, which I found a little limited as I was travelling for work. Sadly, the doors to the restaurant were still closed at 8.05am, so I was forced to make alternative arrangements. Small things to fix, but overall good."
