This is a very convenient, well-run property near the airport that offers frequent (complimentary) shuttle service to/from the airport. The front desk and restaurant staff are extremely attentive. Having stayed at a few Holiday Inn-hotels in the past (Cancun, Montreal, USA) I have to say this was the best experience we've ever had with the brand. The hotel is set up to offer everything a traveller might need when for overnight connections and longer stays, though a bit far from Shanghai city to explore if time is a concern. The breakfast is varied, offering both Asian and Western fare, plenty of coffee and healthy options. Recommended.

Everything was good… but the room was a bit smelly… it was perfectly fine after a few minutes with the door and window open. The location was great for us, and the shuttle was perfect. We used it to get to the maglev train, then again the next day to go to the airport. Overall a great stay with the short-lived smell being the only thing that prevented a 5-star review across the board.
