Perfectly located within walkie distance to The Bund and major shopping streets, friendly, efficient staff. They did their best to communicate in my language which is English.

The staff was very helpful and kind. They may not speak good English, but they try hard, and they are good with the translation apps. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay in Shanghai

The room was spacious and uniquely decorated. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Staff were helpful and made a good effort to help us despite the language barrier. The location is only a few minutes from the yu garden train station so it is easy to travel throughout the city easily. You can walk to many restaurants and to the yu garden within a few minutes.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Blossom House. The service was excellent, breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel also organizes activities and city tours, which we took part in—a traditional Chinese incense ceremony and a guided walk along The Bund. Definitely recommend this place.

Room was clean,very quite sleep,comfortable bed .poor view of other rooms from the bedroom window.i enjoyed that the lobby is located on lvl 7 but to access the rooms you divert completely passed it via lvl 2 which is the entrance .didnt eat there as there are many food options nearby.

The interior of the hotel was immaculate, and the cleaning staff were attentive. The area outside the hotel lacked parking and the foot paths were limited and often hard to navigate due to bicycle and scooter parking

We are a family for four with two kids age 11 and 7, stayed for 6 days. This hotel is family friendly, offers free activities like city walk with local tour guide, and craft arts etc. Right next to the subway station and Yu garden, and about 10 min walk to the Bund. Our room was large and clean, all the drinks and snacks are free, they even offer free laundry station. They also have a photographer on site! We really enjoyed staying here and would totally recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at Blossom House on the Bund. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a calm and stylish atmosphere that made us feel instantly at home. The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful spot yet within easy walking distance of all the major sights we wanted to visit. Whether it was strolling along the Bund, exploring the Old Town, or heading to nearby restaurants and shops, everything was perfectly accessible. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It truly made our Shanghai visit special, and I would definitely return.

5 stars would be an understatement!

Great stay! Hotel was in a fantastic location next to Yu Gardens and the Bund. We were surprised with free hotel activities such as daily city walk (930-11am), evening night tour of Yu Gardens scenic area (our guide was the super seasoned concierge, George) and even free hotel photography! (3 free photos and pay for what you like, our photographer Xiao Qi was amazing with full makeup and change of clothes makeover.) With complimentary local desserts 8pm-10pm every night. Hotel staff were all super friendly and generous with us - including helping me to settle a local parcel cost without wanting to charge me. There's also beautiful post cards you can send to your loved ones from the hotel, courtesy of the hotel. All in, it's simply amazing!!! I'll recommend this hotel to everyone!

I enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel My room was big with a terrace. Very clean Plenty of hot water and good water pressure I felt very safe Staff that did a great job: The guy the checked me out. He was friendly, caring Housekeeping ladies: Nice and friendly This hotel is about 30 minute walk from Nanjing Road. About 2.5 blocks away from the pier where you would get a ferry to tour the Huangpu river I love walking, I did not mind the distance on foot Getting a taxi very easy. Use Didi application Distance to Pudong airport with no traffic is 38 minutes but with traffic over 1.2 hours Negative aspects which did mot impact my stay -No internet. I used my hotspot -Breakfast, not to my taste but you won’t starve. I don’t think it is worth to pay for it, but it was not too expensive. -Staff that checked me in looked stressed and was not friendly Good stay for 1-2 days at most If you need to use the internet, I do not recommend this hotel. Even with hot spot it took some effort to do my work. My room was 1010. There must be a club nearby, blasting Spanish music all night long. I did not mind. It kept me awake.

Amazing Hotel. We used this hotel for a stopover night on the way back to the UK from Japan. You just need to fill in a small form at the border on the way to immigration for a 240hour/10 days free visa to get out of the airport. If you are doing this as a stopover tell them at checkin so they do not transit your bags! Artistically designed rooms in a great location.We had a large balcony with views overlooking Shanghai. Great service - even though they did not speak much english they use a translater app so communciation was excellent. They really helped us. Lots to see just by walking around and great views of the Bund buildings. We were just here overnight so had enough time to wander around and get some dumplings and noodles from a large array of small restaurants just outside the hotel. The area felt very safe as there are a few hotels about in the area. Good ameneties in the room - USB points so you don't need a plug!. Great breakfast with a wide choice of foods in a big dining room with great views. We just got a tax to get there from the airport - took about 45 mins - equivalent of £20-30 (dependant on amount of traffic - alot more in the morning!) Note - bring an address in chinese as taxi driver could not read the english address. Also the location in the UK version google maps is incorrect. Look for the correct street address. Well worth a visit and Shanghai looks a great place to visit. We wish we actually had extended our stopover for a couple of days.
