"Overall, I would stay here again. There were a few things I was disappointed with on arrival however. Reception is only manned from 9am-4pm, and check in starts from 3pm which leaves only a 1hr window to check in properly. If like me you arrive after 4pm, you will not have reception to greet you and introduce you to the property. This is not a big deal as they do send detailed check in instructions with how to enter, codes, key etc, I was just surprised as everywhere else in Crete has had...

"We loved our stay here. Roula was wonderful, stayed late to meet us after our ferry was delayed several hours. She also helped arrange transportation for the Samaria Gorge hike and early morning trip to the airport. The room was beautiful and very convenient to everything in old town. "Quaint, clean, and right in the middle of everything. Had everything and I needed and lots of homey touches. I especially loved the PILES of available blankets and the beautiful balcony overlooking the church square, where a local guitarist liked to sit and play. The host was very helpful with a map and recommendations. I'd stay there again. "

"Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a suite and it was excellent. the front desk staff were super accommodating and always seemed to be working, no matter the hours. The rooms are spacious and super clean. We rented a car and there was underground parking. We love walking and could easily walk to the old town ( about 20 minutes) and eat and shop. However, there was also an amazing bakery about one block ( around the corner)from our hotel where we picked up breakfast and sandwiches for the day....

"The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. If I am ever back in Chania I will stay here again."
