Joan and his staff for very welcoming and ensured we had an excellent visit. The rural setting of the hotel has the beach, Roman archaeological sites and other places to visit within 30 minutes of the hotel. The food was awesome. Joan and team prepare and serve extravagant meals bursting with flavor. You can't possibly go hungry.

Superbe Hotel Rural

Très bel ėtablissement en pleine campagne. J'y ai séjourné une nuit en faisant la Rota Vicentina. Accueil chaleureux. Chambre spacieuse et très bien équipée. Petit déjeuner royal. En ce jour de semaine, en basse saison, j'étais le seul client, j'ai quand meme pu manger un petit repas le soir ; salade et sandwich chaud. C'est pas donné, mais c'est très bien.

Nice country hotel

We stayed one night before we got to Lisbon. As we got in at 8.30 pm there we were unable to get dinner but the breakfast made up for it it was a good buffet but we were cooked scrambled eggs and bacon. It was very rural but very nice. The room was a good size and we enjoyed our stay. A lovely refreshing swim in the good sized pool was also very nice before breakfast.

Off the beaten path and lovely

We needed to get out of crowded tourist environments and relax in a quiet resort. This was listed as a rural resort and it was. It has ten rooms only, each decorated very nicely. Unfortunately we got a queen bed when we always sleep in a king, so we were not as comfortable as we usually are. The air conditioner was wall-mounted and very, very loud. So between the smaller and harder bed and the loud air conditioner, we did not have a great night's sleep. Breakfast was nicely prepared and the coffee very good. The grounds were attractive and peaceful. We did not use any of the facilities because we had a long drive in front of us, but they looked very nice. The hotel is intimate and well furnished and a good escape from the high rise hotel option. We had been in the Algarve with its high occupancy and high density and couldn't wait to get out. This is a far more pleasant experience for a weary traveller or one who likes places off the beaten path. Worth a stay.

Charme & services de grande qualité.

Accueil agréable et même chaleureux, chambre avec petite terrasse et surtout l'ensemble parc et bâtiment principal très jolis, décor à la fois typique et contemporain, le soir , un enchantement avec la cuisine d'un passionné comme on aimerait en croiser plus souvent.

Perfecto para huir del ruido de las ciudades

Muy buen trato en este hotel de solo 10 habitaciones. Las inmediaciones son espectaculares, rodeados de campos de alcornoques, y las instalaciones son modernas y bonitas. No dejéis de probar la comida alentejana que preparan en la cocina, exquisita.
