"As a global traveler, this was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! Great rooms. Spectacular views of the Ligurian Sea. Fabulously helpful and friendly staff. Perfection! Super special place. Unique. Service superb. Gardens spectacular. Pool and waterfront area fabulous. Sitting by the sea and hearing the roar of the waves and appreciating the view unreal. Wish I could have spent more time there. Btw Santa Margherita Ligure totally underrated. The best city for touring the area like Cinque Terre, unlike Portofino (touristy). The Imperial conveniently located in the city. Bar and staff wonderful and breakfast superb. My wife and I could not find a single flaw. They should do better PR."

"Our room was a good size, bright and we had a beautiful ocean view. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We loved the "old school" elevator. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was delicious and breakfast was ample enough to keep us going till we ate again later in the day. The location is perfect to explore Rappallo and also right across from the boat pier to explore Santa Margherita, Portofino and San Fruttuoso. Additionally, I had a car and the staff sorted our parking for me and provided the car back to me within 15 minutes upon request, which was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again."

"Everywhere was clean and tidy with staff working hard to maintain this. Our room was a good size , as was the bathroom and we has a beautiful view. Plenty of choice at breakfast; the women who manage breakfast are amazing and very well organised all with a smile on their faces. The pool area is tranquil and calm - plenty of beds available when we stayed. Thank you for a lovely stay"
