"Beautiful property and wonderful hospitality "

"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"The room was very clean, comfortable, owner of property welcomed us. Very safe and quiet location. Parking lots inside property very big plus although outside street parking safe and plenty. Bcz house has no number it took a while to find the property. However the customer care was very helpful and we found the location. Also pictures of street and property were sent to help us. "Rooms were just okay, quite basic, very stark. The property, lobby, and restaurant were beautiful which was quite a contrast to rooms. Carpet was a bit dirty and musty smell in hallways. Pool and bar area was beautiful. Town was extremely quiet when we were there and unsure of walking around at night. Exceptional wine tour by Bambuti arranged by hotel. Overall a nice stay. "
