Contacted the property multiple times over months with the same request and they rarely if ever responded. When I contacted them about missing my flight they had the audacity to inform me that I "only booked for 1 person" which contradicted my many emails and the hotels.com booking for 1 room with 2 adults. "Ok experience. Nothing more and nothing less. Two Norwegians pretty used to comfort and good accommodations, and this wasn’t all the way as expected at this price level, even though it’s Serengeti. The staff were very bad in English, so we found ourselves lost in translation very often. Which made planning a safari a bit of a challenge. However, our safari guide was fantastic. "The lodge is located in a central place amongst the vast Serengeti, so it is relatively easy to visit the sites where the animals are located. I found the buffet fantastic with a great chef and helpful staff. Dancers accompanied the evening meals and there was a nice vibe in the dining area. You cannot leave the premises of the lodge, it literally is too dangerous to do so, as hyenas, warthogs or even a hippo may attack you.
