"The lodge is located in a central place amongst the vast Serengeti, so it is relatively easy to visit the sites where the animals are located. I found the buffet fantastic with a great chef and helpful staff. Dancers accompanied the evening meals and there was a nice vibe in the dining area. You cannot leave the premises of the lodge, it literally is too dangerous to do so, as hyenas, warthogs or even a hippo may attack you. "This is an amazing property built in the late 60's. Very rustic and built into a rock mountain with fantastic views over the Northern Serengeti. You must appreciate rustic and that not always will you have power and hot water, it is very very remote and difficult to get to.
