Great location next to Sadang Station (exit 8). Also many restaurants and convenience stores around. Room was clean and the shower/bath was amazing. The tent in the winter garden area was really random though haha.

The internet was sufficient. The clean room staff very diligent and helpful. The breakfast was adequate but somwtines cool nkt warm enough. A hotdog was unusual for a breakfast item as well as pasta noodles. The staff worked hard. The lighting was very low for acbreakfast meal.Lobby staff were very attentive and friendly. Free parking was appreciated for needed events.
Small room and odd layout…
The room was much smaller than advertised, with no workspace/desk. I called front desk and the staff brought a picnic type table. The bathroom had a weird setup where the faucet was positioned in the middle of the room and was extremely low, forcing me to crouch down. On the plus side, the staff were wonderful—their service is the only reason for the 5 stars.
SR Hotel Sadang was the perfect property for our stay. First of the rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy. We were on the top floor with easy address to their rooftop like area. Not much up there other than a few chairs and tables, but it was a nice view to see the sunrise and the local bustling activities. Second, the subway station is literally right next to the hotel with a direct shot to Seoul Station. We thought it might be a problem (long commute) staying so far from where the action is on the north shore, but it was an easy trip. 30 minutes tops. Third, the location is much less touristy, but it's hopping. Plenty of restaurants and shops. A convenience store in right across from the hotel a few steps away. Lastly, the price was right. When you consider the location, the room quality and size, the way subway access and commute time... absolutely satisfied. We'd totally stay here again!
Great location for subway on Line 2. Restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and courteous.

The areas around the hotel is safe and close to subway and bus stop. There is a small park one block away. Very convenient to several restaurants in area. The staff is professional and helpful
Clean, safe, and very polite friendly helpful staff. Ice cold water and fresh ground coffee in lobby. Solid air conditioning made it comfortable inside even in basement suites with no windows. Room was spacious. Sadang station is very close as is Pastel City and a bunch of other food options in and around side streets. Good place to stay for a trip to Seoul.
Decent hotel. Welcoming and helpfull staff, clean and decent rooms with nice bathrooms. Good location just around the corner from Sadang metro station (exit 8).
BUT, the breakfast is a disaster, possibly the worst I have ever seen. The selection is cold pasta, supermarket toast with margarine (nothing else!), and rice. Absolutely not worth playing for and an embarassment to the hotel.
It was a great time, very friendly staff & a good service, a very nice place…
Only the breakfast was small and not many options- but okay for this price….the subway is near by that‘s a plus…
We come back!!! Thanks…

This property was a mixed experience. It was clean and had new or stylish features, but it also badly needed a fresh coat of paint. It's vibe, which is really nice if you're into it, is of a dark jazz club --nicely unique. The staff were pleasant and the manager was very helpful in resolving a room issue at check-in.
Since I have sensitivities to odors/perfumes as well as to molds, it's an issue I wish I'd known before I booked a room here. Either the cleaners they use, or the building itself, had a fairly strong, peculiar odor to it. It didn't bother my husband, it did bother me. The suite I initially booked is located in the basement, and that quickly had me feeling nauseous. The manager quickly and graciously switched us to a very nice room on the upper floors. The smells were less (not absent) and I could open the window for fresh air so I felt better enough to stay.
The breakfast was convenient, but not tasty. The location is great, including close to the subway station. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The property is somewhat quirky, but not all in bad ways; in fact, has some bit of charm.

Not a good experience, unfortunately
We booked two nights at the hotel. The first room we received was not clean. The toilet had piss stains and the sink had tooth paste stains on it. We called reception and someone came up. To his credit, he looked appalled as well. We asked for another room and were offered a downgrade to the 13th floor (we were on the 14th floor). My wife insisted that we get an upgrade and we were moved to a suite on the 15th floor for one night. That room was wonderful, it had a jacuzzi and was very spacious. On the next day, however, we received another room on the 14th floor. That room had one curtain that wouldn't roll down all the way and was transparent. Which meant that during the day, it was impossible to get some shut-eye.
In general - it's a nice hotel. But we should've been offered an upgrade to begin with and the rooms need more maintenance. Too bad. It had a lot of potential.
The area is quite nice with lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. The staff was friendly. Seems like the management is the problem.
I was totally satisfied with this place.
I enjoyed bath and took a rest at the balcony.
lastly it is located nearby subway station.

Never experienced such a poor breakfast. The room has no desk, and most of the space is taken up by the bathroom and toilet.

Fantastic location near to subway station and many convenience stores & eateries within walking distance. The only downside was that the Terrace was completely covered up, which was a disappointment since we paid extra just to get a city view.
