The room where clean and had a great location ... only that. the temperature on the room was kept at 28-30C the whole day. it was so hot to be on the room to sleep or rest, but ofcourse the lobby where the employees where at was kept nice and cool. however there was no sitting area to be able to sit in the lobby to enjoy the cool air. if you tried to sit on the restaurant empty chairs they would kick you out saying in private property.... but i guess the hotel doesn't own the restaurant that is didn't next to the check in counter. won't comment to stay here at all if you are planning to go during late spring or summer time.

The room ran very hot and I couldn’t adjust the temperature, so slept with the windows open. The cleaning staff were great and thorough. Didn’t haven’t breakfast as we told there were lots of places in the area with better options. The strength of this hotel is LOCATION. Can’t be beat, heart of shopping and right on the subway line.

My favorite hotel in Myeongdong. Close to everything. Service is superb! Love the storage area. Put our big luggage while we were in Jeju. Its safe. Like also having a scale in the lobby and kiosk to get internet while in korea.

Great convenient location in vibrant part of the city and 2 minute walk from Metro. Buffet breakfast has decent selection and good quality. Staff friendly throughout. We had a generally good stay with a few notable pros and cons. The biggest highlight is the location. It’s excellent, with the night markets right on the doorstep and close to the train station, as well as within walking distance to many attractions, which made getting around Seoul very easy. I would recommend skipping the hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, it was below average and not worth the price. After the first couple of days, we chose to eat elsewhere. There’s an amazing food truck right downstairs that sells Korean breakfast sandwiches, which were cheap, fresh, and far better than the hotel offering. In comparison, the hotel food felt disappointing. The bread was stale, the juices tasted like cordial, and the eggs had a strong, unpleasant smell. One major downside was the noise on our last night. At around 1am, roadworks began right outside with extremely loud jackhammering. It went on for hours and kept us awake. When I went down to reception, several other guests were already complaining, so it wasn’t an isolated issue. I understand this was outside of the hotel’s control, but it did significantly impact our stay. I would recommend checking with the hotel in advance about any nearby construction. The hotel itself was very clean, and housekeeping did a great job refreshing our room daily. The rooms were also a good size, which we really appreciated. One minor inconvenience was the elevators. There are four, but they felt quite slow and often crowded given the numb

Although the location of this hotel was close to Myeongdong station, the thermostat wasn’t able to change. The temperature as well as the mode (Heater/Air Condition) weren’t able to be alter which made our stay very uncomfortable. The outside temperature was less than 10 Degrees Celsius and the thermostat was set on cool. Insulation wasn’t the greatest so we could feel the coldness and it was quite difficult to sleep. Please keep in mind that we came from an area in which it has tropical temperatures all year around.

So, when you get a room, just do yourself a favour and book a room thats bigger than standard double room. I booked standard double and ended up upgrading to bigger room because room was so tight. Bathroom is was tiny. AC is central, so you can’t control it, and if your room is facing south, it usually gets super hot. I had to change room due to temperature issue. Service wise, they were very accommodating. No big smiles but they will answer to your concerns. Warning ⚠️ elevator is super slow. Give yourself extra time especially if you are on a lower floor

Hotel location is very good with nearby amenities and good restaurants situated nearby. The only grouse i have is the hotel room which is quite old and needs upgrading and also the main lift tend to be very full during check out time. Do note Hotel doesn’t provide amenities like toothbrushes n shaver. Take exit7 fm Myeongdong station for escalator access.

For a third class hotel, one cannot fault, but as it advertises itself to be a four star, it is disappointing for clearly it is not. As long as you go without expecting four star quality you should enjoy the hotel.
