"Sitting on the toilet, you 1st see random hairs and orange mold in the grooves of the glass shower (that happens with those types of showers). Shower handle only offers "hot" water and trickles or full on force, even with adjustment of the head above. Dove liquid soap way off to the right side of sink, not convenient (and you get soap/lotion on your belongings sitting underneath ). Bed super high, so not easy to get into. Firm mattress, if you like that. Pillows are fine. Breakfast adequate with lots of variety."

"The facilities are very nice.., clean and new. I didn't like no coffee maker in the room. If you wanted hot water for tea or coffee, you had to go to an area by the front desk. They post that it's more environmentally responsible... but really? Running an elevator up and down 4-floors is a lot more energy wasted than a mini-Mr Coffee."

"We stayed in the caboose for a night heading up to Iowa from AZ. It was just as expected and more. Cute small space with all the amenities youd need for a short stay. Very quiet location off the main road in a heavily treed area outside of town. It was super cool sleeping in an actual caboose. There is a main house a short distance away that can be rented as well. The owner left us a gift card for a coffee shop she owns and that was fantastic as well. Paid for our whole breakfast order! She was super friendly and helpful when Expedia dropped the ball getting us the door code for the second day in a row. You can read all about that on Google. Highly recommend this caboose for a short stay. The rental also comes with access to the country clubs amenities like golf course access, gym and pool."

"As always, my stay was comfortable in a cool, clean and sufficient room. Front desk was pleasant as always. It is a no frills hotel, so don't go expecting room service. However, the room is clean and stocked with clean towels and soaps. I stay here when I work in Abilene and it has never disappointed."
