"I appreciated the positive nature of the owner and his willingness to answer my questions and to assure I had as good stay. The facilities are a little tired and in need of an upgrade, but everything worked as it should, the room was pretty clean, and the rates were the fairest around. Plus if you like to walk, you can access many of Abilene’s coolest spots from the Diamond Motel. I would definitely stay here again. I usually stay at hotels near I70, but there’s not a lot to walk to from there....

"Seems like a newer hotel because it was so clean. I don’t need all the bells and whistles. I’m all about clean. Bonus-the bed was comfy and the breakfast wasn’t any different from costlier hotels. Will try this brand again!"
"We had a perfect trip with a stop in Salina on the way up and the way back and this hotel was incredibly accommodating. The staff is friendly and will do everything to make you stay wonderful."
