"The resort was nice, the meals were very good but a lot my expensive than I thought they would be. Because we didn't have cell service we didn't feel comfortable leaving the resort because we could get lost and the city was very dirty with garbage everywhere. The bathroom was rusty and you had to leave the bathroom door closed at all times to avoid heating up the entire cottage. The cottage was cute though. "

"The property itself was amazing, the beach was definitely the best on island, the staff was unbelievably accommodating! We stayed in the honeymoon suite-wasn’t our honeymoon but we are newly married. We could hear the property next door as it was wishing 10’ of our palapa. The only other thing I can say is that we were not aware that they only served beer and wine and no other alcoholic beverages at the resort. Would definitely stay again if visiting. "

"Spent 7 nights here. Location was close to town, but in a very quiet location. There was a great breeze over the lagoon. Water was very shallow but clear--on resort we saw a barracuda, sting rays, many small fish, Ospreys and herons. Excellent service and a huge shout out to David, Aloya and Enrique-- we really enjoyed our visit and conversations with them! Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ambergris Caye."

Amazing stay
"We absolutely loved our stay at Tres Coco’s and would be back. The front desk was very welcoming, the property (inside and out) was immaculate, and the location was wonderful. You definitely need a golf cart to get around the island (we rented ours independently and it was much cheaper than through the resort), but there are plenty of restaurants walking distance or within a five minute golf cart ride. It’s not a place to party, but if you want a good drink the Doghouse is right on site. The pool was absolutely stunning and very well maintained- I could have spent the whole day on property enjoying the amenities and view. "
