"I would highly recommend Hacienda El Porvenir! The lodge and the amenities were impeccable. The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly very attentive to our needs and spoke fluent English. Mateo and Michele were the best! In the restaurant, Annie and Lady were very pleasant and great servers. Miguel guided our horseback trip, which was the highlight of our trip! We love the food, the accommodations, and the spa. Despite it rugged vintage appearance, we were so surprised to have a high-tech Japanese toilet with so many features in our bathroom. If you are planning a trip to Cotopaxi, you absolutely have to stay here!"

"we needed something for the night close to the airport, we had stayed before at the Hostal Mariscal Sugre.. and found the beds. They’re horrible… so we thought we would try somewhere close and cheap…. The beds were better, the breakfast was not too bad., we had to walk a little bit to get dinner.. but it was a Shawarma place and it was actually very good… staff was pretty good but there’s a highway just behind the hotel so you will get over some light highway sound. We just put in some earplugs and everything was fine…. I rate this about a seven out of 10 factor price at location…. I believe the shuttle is eight dollars US but we had a rental car we were returning so we were good… I believe the Uber is the same amount."
