"Very pet friendly, not our choice but every thing else was excellent. I’d recommend it for location, friendly staff, canal walks/trips, good restaurant and excellent cafes in Skipton."

"Evening meal consisted of a frozen pizza, certainly not fresh made on site. Breakfast was boring uninviting standard English. Bedroom was "tired" There were notices saying that they are refubishing. It wood have been nice to be advised on this when booking. I certainly dont think the room charge was taking the above into account"

"The heating in the room wasn't working. It wasn't an issue as they brought us a really good heater however being able to dry some things on the heated towel rail would've been useful. Also hot chocolate in room would be good. Breakfast was awesome. Thought we were just getting a continental which would have been fine but we also got Cumberland sausages and bacon. Staff were really friendly and the room was so cosy. Would love to stay again. "

"Very dated with chipped paint in room, uncomfortable bed. No plugs near bed, no tissues in room. The checkin area looked good- it deteriorated as soon as you went up to the 2nd floor! Swimming pool closed after 4pm so no use to people working"

"Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! My husband complained at reception but they just said ok I’ll let them no… with no apology. Also check in not very welcoming! Also they have spoilt the countryside views by putting an 8ft fence up ! We will be looking elsewhere to stay next time! "
