"Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....

"This was a very cozy and romantic place to stay. Rustic and charming room. The meals in the dining room were excellent. We had massages that were also wonderful. What a great place!"

"Não é tão próximo da praia como consta no descritivo. O acesso 1 a praia é uma parte mais suja. Não recomendo. Andamos cerca de 13min a pé pra acessar a praia. As comidades do Hotel são boas. O café da manhã é bom."

"We had an excellent time here, I can say almost everything was perfect. The customer service here was perfect. Alex was the guy that helped me out most of the time and I can say he was the most helpful guy I have ever met and he even helped me plan out the perfect proposal to ask my partner to be my girlfriend, because of the way Alex treated us we will for sure comeback soon and we will recommend this hotel to everyone when visiting the island.
