São Cristóvão de Lafões Hotels

"Helpful staff and great spa area, perfect to relax"

"liked this restored palace site and location did not like breakfast area, not comfortable"

"If you’re driving watch out the hotel is easy to miss, it’s on your right hand side as you go up the steep narrow street. If possible turn into the side road just before the hotel and park near the junction. The hotel car park is not far from there. Lovely quiet situation but not far from the town centre. Nice room with comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Great little gem. Lovely location Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. "

"The Hotel is clean but very outdated, the breakfast is excellent "

"Small family-run hotel located at a small village. Very well maintained. Room was really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. It is also conveniently located very close to the PR7 hiking trail. Other highlights of the region, such as Ponte Arouca, are within a 45 minutes radius. I waa happy to stay there. Just beware that there is no restaurant in the hotel nor within walking distance, and neither a supermarket nearby."

"Staff was very nice and breakfast was good too "

"Great alternative to staying in hotel room. Private room + ensuite were comfortable for my overnight stay. House is well kept and staff were very helpful."

"A little dated, but comfortable and friendly. Beware if you are getting on, there are 43 stairs to the 2nd floor."

"Good hotel and staff very friendly. Comfortable room with a good size."

"Excelente lugar para disfrutar del contacto con la naturaleza."

"We had a comfortable stay, bed and shower were good. Staff was friendly and breakfast was basic, but good. Would recommend for a quick stay. "

"Great hotel with excellent amenities. The kids really enjoyed the spa area. It would be even better if the waitstaff during dinner and brunch were a bit more cheerful."

"Beautiful place! Would recommend stay here. "

"Overall an amazing stay! All amenities were great as well as the cleanliness"

"Great location, We kept it as a base to move south and north. Very nice hotel. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was great, Parking inside the hotel had issues as the beams very close but that is a structural issue how it was made. Liked the hotel over all"

"Friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast."

"This is by far the best property I've ever booked through Expedia. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful working farm, across an ancient Roman bridge. A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. The owners live nearby and are the most hospitable and generous hosts imaginable, sharing fresh produce from their farm and knowledge of the area."

"Good location and parking. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean and comfortable bed. Parking included was a bonus. Nice bar and patio area. Did not use pool as a bit cool air temp. Dafe area."
