"When I first got there at the staff was completely rude except for one person when I made the booking there was a slight error to my reservation, so I had to make another reservation because they were not willing to make any changes nor cancel the booking. I wanna ask for a refund for the booking on the first one they denied it and told Expedia to not contact them anymore so basically I end up paying for two rooms for $1200 even though I had to make another reservation secondly, my fourth day being there I will stop by Security stating that there was a confusion and if I actually have a room and to me, I felt disrespected and profiled because I’ve been there for four days and no one has stopped me. The security guard had to ask me for My name to make sure I’m still in the system third of all, I wanted to go downstairs to check out the restaurant. The food was not the greatest and charge me $40. meanwhile, I can get better food for night even half the price for room service to me that makes no sense and I get it that they’re trying to be a luxury hotel but also the balcony view was not the greatest. You don’t really get a view at all you just stand out in the courtyard there’s no beach view. The only thing that’s convenient is that you’re just nearby the mall that’s it if anybody that’s planning on going to this trip just consider going to Punta Cana and get it all inclusive resort to either dreams or secrets."

"The Hodelpa Nicolas de Ovando is a classic! this hotel has kept its charm, elegance, good service, and quality of offerings since it first opened its doors. I travel to DR rather frequently and I can consider this hotel my home away from home. The location is superb and my hats off to their customer service."
