"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Aikia, we had a room with a dip pool and a fantastic large private balcony with an amazing view of the ocean! The dining options are limited but the food quality is excellent. The concierge was very helpful, Helped us to book excursions. The daily maid service was also excellent the room super clean, with a shower that opens to the outside. Thank you to the amazing team at the Villa Aikia!"

"This place was amazing. Small hotel with an intimate setting. Great, clean rooms with amazing balconies with fantastic views. You were up in the jungle but could hear the ocean waves from your balcony. Yummy eco-friendly products, amazing massages that the staff arrange to come to you, yoga, etc. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, thoughtful. "It is not a resort but a small picturesque hotel and does not cater to non Spanish speakers. A certain level of athleticism is required as to go anywhere, including the beach, which is not far but relatively steep. It is HOT and humid.The pool and deck are lovely and there are seldom more than few guests about. The air-con is a huge relief, we had ours set at 26' and it still felt like a fridge when coming in from outside. The WIFI is dodgy.The staff pleasant but more tolerant than welcoming."
