The pool was kept very clean. The rooms were quite nice. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. There is a spa for massages and facials. I had a wonderful massage there at a great price. The staff were very accommodating though not many spoke very good English. All around it was a great stay 8/10. Be aware lots of Mexicans stay here.

Great location 5 minute walk to Chahue Beach, 5 minute walk to the major grocery store & 15 minutes walk into the town. Staff were friendly, room was sparsely decorated but comfortable and had a fridge. Great pool!

Very comfortable room with good air conditioning, nice shower with lots of hot water, and very pleasant and helpful staff. It is an easy walk to the beach and the pool was great. We enjoyed our 3 nights here. One minor thing was that the TV was much too small in our large room.

The hotel is clean and in good condition and the rooms are large. There was no hot water during our 6 day stay. The front desk staff said that is not unusual in México. The pool is very large with lots of lounge chairs. The hotel is popular with large groups of Mexican tourists arriving on tour buses. When the buses arrive the pool in the evening is very noisy and on Friday evening they have live music which is very loud. On the plus side the pool closes at 9 and then the hotel is mostly silent. The pool is mostly quiet in the afternoons as most tourists are out for the day. The bartender named Alejandro is the most welcoming and friendly staff member and he speaks some English so was a pleasure to visit with. The restaurant was good.Very few English speaking guests stay at this hotel. The entrance and plants around the hotel are lovely.

El Hotel is in a few steps to the Chahue beach , in the morning we walked around it, it is so beautiful to heard the birds. It is very calm.

Love the authenticity of the place. Clean. Nice pool and area. Had great supper with amazing staff. The only downside is the communication because of our lack of Spanish. On one note I would say don’t upgrade but on the other hand there is a need for better plug ins and some minor fixes. But still wonderful location and place at a good price.

Not worth the price

Expensive for the room comfort and amenities provided. Bed sheets we sewn together to create a king sheet. Sheets were really low quality, abrasive, and uncomfortable. No basic amenities like tissues, hand towels, and security locks on doors. An expensive motel 6 with a nice swimming pool. The location is a long walk or taxi from most restaurants, etc. Seems to cater to large extended families on holiday who really enjoy the pool.

Great central location, staff were very good, pool needed to be cleaned more often, probably daily with the amount of use, we were assuming we would have a fridge in our unit based on previous years experience but we didn’t have one initially but after a few chats, we got a fridge. The fam in the bedroom in 401 is very noisy.
