"We stayed three nights at The Cheshire Cat Inn and had a wonderful experience! We stayed in the Dormouse room. It was very well appointed, with luxurious toiletries and it was impeccably clean. The house was built in the late 1800s, and has kept the charm, while also having modern amenities. The breakfasts were tasty, and gave us a variety of sweet or savory options from day to day. The location was close to State Street, so we could walk to many shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful, and provided suggestions about restaurants to visit. The homemade cookies daily were a nice bonus! Thank you to the staff for making our stay wonderful!"

"I wish I could give the Secret Garden Inn and Cottages a perfect 5-stars but check-in was a disaster. Check-in was to start at 3 pm, but when my wife and I got there just before 3 pm, no one was there to check us in until 3:20 pm. Then we discovered our room at the Inn was different than what we had reserved. The room itself was ok, just a bed, dresser and two chairs, pus bath. The breakfast was excellent, home-made quiches and croissants with jam, OJ, coffee, melon. So mixed review."

"People at the front are very attentive. I was assigned a room on the other side of the building that doesnt have elevator so I had to use stairs, I didn't want to take my big suitcase upstairs so I asked them to change my room to the floor and they were able to accommodate my request the next day and let me see the room first before they assigned it to me. I forgot the name of the person who helped. Cafe food was good if you dont wanna go somewhere else to eat.Pool was clean and the hot pool is under the roof which was comfortable to sit in it. Property is very clean and looks like the rooms were just renovated and cleaning room service was everyday so clean towels and clean room every day. They have coffee 24 hours at the front desk and clean pool towel also available at the front desk.Not too noisy even though lots of people come and go. King Bed is bigger than any other hotels i ever stayed. Rooms have balconies for fresh air to flow.Overall I am happy to give this place 5 stars. Couple restaurants in walking distance but having a car really help ,8 mints drive away from Los arroyos mexican restaurants where all the restaurants are located."

"Very well appointed hotel but had issues with the air conditioning system and could not get the room cool enough for sleeping. Kind of a bummer. It would be nice if there was a restaurant or room service. Also didn’t loce having to pay $30 a night for parking. "

"Not enough parking spots for all 30 units. There are 23 spots which means some are forced to look for street parking which is very tight. The kitchen could use some instructions on how to use the espresso machine & the oven."
