"We love coming to the knoll house, it is clean and quirky and has a lot of history attached to it. The food is lovely. It’s very dog friendly beautiful Studland beach is across the road. It has a small pool and Swanage is five minutes drive down the road. It’s a very relaxing place to be."

"Clean but basic - why do so many hotels not have provision for more than a single suitcase? Rather isolated from the rest of the town - a drive or minimum 20 minute walk to get anywhere. A good breakfast. We have used it several times because it is very convenient for the ferry port which is less than 15 minutes drive away. Some ferries depart early or arrive late and I don't want a long drive very early or late."

"Lovely place to spend a weekend in Bournemouth. Chose it for its proximity to Alum Chine beach. Having the pool was definitely a bonus and we made use of it every day. Breakfast was good too, nothing too fancy though. Good value for money! "
