The breakfast was fresh and unlike cheap 'continental' menu. The food seemed cooked in the morning with decent variety, and tasteful. A lot of people including us were happy to eat roasted vegetables grown on the property.

Very family friendly, kids played at the heated pool and hot tub, king suite was large enough for the four of us, decor was dated, lovely areas nearby for hiking and a 25 acre nursey that had cool things to buy. Breakfast wasn't good, $20 if you didn't book directly through their website. Coffee was awful. Close proximity to beach, elephant seals and Hearst Castle. Would probably go back. Would've been nice to have a gym on the property.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cambria Pines Lodge. Our cottage was spacious with the added surprise of a herd of 12 deer lounging behind our patio fence each morning! The buffet breakfast was very good and the staff was warm and welcoming. There is a steep hill to navigate to get to and from the village, but it's just a few minutes drive with pretty accessible parking in the winter time. The lodge grounds are expansive and beautiful.

Front office staff is exceptional. 3rd visit here and we will continue to come here! Family room unit was perfect! Nice and quiet and all of the large trees on the property make the area perfect for a quick get away! .4 miles to walk to downtown Cambria. Love it here!
