I had a great two week stay at Hotel Vayor. Good location close to beaches and restaurants, bars. Easy walk to Centro. Hotel was clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The young woman managing the property is super friendly and efficient. Our apartment was clean, kitchen well stocked for simple meals, everything comfortable except the pillows. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to relax and enjoy some shade and breeze. Restaurants, beach, music within walking distance. Super safe and quiet area.

Great option for a budget bungalow in Melaque

First off, the staff/owners of the hotel are excellent! They are very kind and accommodating. This is a budget hotel so travelers should not expect anything fancy. This hotel definitely met our expectations. The family room/bungalow includes a room with a futon, bar area table with four chairs, a full size (small) fridge, two burners, a toaster, blender, sink and microwave. Some plates, cooking utensils, cups and pots and pans are also provided. The bedroom is separated from the kitchen by a curtain. The bed is queen size and as is typical in Mexico, very firm. The pillows exceeded my expectations. Three large, soft pillows were provided. Another thing that exceeded my expectations was the shower. The hot water was very hot and there was a lot of water pressure. The shower is separate from the toilet and a lot of toilet paper was provided. The AC worked very well. The hotel is two short blocks from the "arches" in Melaque. You can access the beach within 2 blocks. The door to access the room/bungalow is a sliding glass door that locks. However, this did not make me feel unsafe or worried about our belongings.

The owners are amazing..make you feel so welcome. The hot water was the best we have experienced in Mexico in terms of pressure and heat. The air conditioner is in the bedroom so the kitchen does not get the benefit of it..a fan in the kitchen would help. The utensils in the kitchen were limited but the owners provided us with the items we requested. We love this hotel.
