Food is very good All the people in charge of every departament were very kind. The beach is a plate, the temperature of The water unique . About the room , the bed wasnā€™t so Good and having a door in between rooms is not nice you lose privacy

Itā€™s a beautiful place. I loved that two of the pools were heated, so luxurious!! The food was good, not great. There were a couple of odd things that I hope they improve. 1) a guest guide book or walk through of how the suite works. We didnā€™t know the refrigerator had filtered water till the last day. This book should also contain important information, like how to walk to the Playa Rosa ( a cute little walk - not the long way as google maps shows 2) a more conveniency store that sells all the sunscreen, small little thing you might need throughout your stay- ironically they have this but itā€™s hidden away in the receptionist closet. No one knows about this as I asked several staff members about sunscreen without any suggestion to ask receptionist. Other than that the stay was great just needs to be more user friendly.

Decepcionante estadĆ­a En Careyes suites

Desde el dĆ­a domingo quĆ© fue nuestra llegada se nos negĆ³ la entrada, siendo que la reservaciĆ³n ya estaba pagada, nosotros llegamos tarde y cansados y decĆ­an que si no tenĆ­amos la prueba de covid no nos dejarĆ­an pasar, yo entiendo que si me hubieran dicho anteriormente la hubiera llevado pero desde el guardia de la entrada no nos dejo pasar , y tuvimos que ir ya ya tarde a una clĆ­nica en medio de la nada y ya estaba cerrada, pues regresamos al hotel y les dijimos que no se podĆ­a hacer la prueba, y muy a fuerzas nos dejaron pasar ala recepciĆ³n diciĆ©ndonos que no saliĆ©ramos para nada del cuarto , hasta el dĆ­a siguiente que nos hicieran la prueba, la persona de recepcion fue amable con nosotros, pero aun asĆ­ nos diĆ³ primero un cuarto y despuĆ©s al dĆ­a siguiente nos tuvo que cambiar a otra habitaciĆ³n que porque esa ya estaba apartada , y tuvimos que volver a cambiarnos a otra , total que entre que nos vinieran a tomar la prueba y cambiaran la habitaciĆ³n ya se habĆ­a perdido casi otro dĆ­a y solo Ć­bamos por tres noches, para variar la habitaciĆ³n donde nos cambiaron se veĆ­a linda pero o sorpresa , estaba infestada de moscos y pedimos un raid para matarlos y nos dijeron que no tenĆ­an , entonces pasamos muy mala noche tratando de matar a los moscos , aparte nos saliĆ³ un alacrĆ”n, y pedimos se fumigara al sig dia , para que la habitaciĆ³n estuviera bien, pero perdimos muchĆ­simo tiempo en esperar todos estos imprevistos que no tendrian porque existir, cobrando lo que cobran

Las instalaciones muy lindas y limpias, la comida de restaurantes deliciosa y buenas porciones. En lo personal creo que no debe dar la clasificaciĆ³n de hotel ya que no cuenta con servicios de alimentos ni recepcion durante todo el dĆ­a, lo que complica la estancia ya que debes salir de las instalaciones e ir a algunos de sus restaurantes que tiene en el pueblo. AdemĆ”s, no te incluye menos facilita la compra de accesorios de vanidad (cepillos de dientes, pasta, etc)

hotel under renovation.

Beautiful beach but the hotel is very understaffed. After 6 on hotel lobby is closed. Itā€™s obvious the hotel is going through a renovation, and even though our condo was nicely remodeled it was missing TVs. Even though the pools are beautiful, we believe that we could have stayed in a better hotel and gotten a better customer service, for what we paid for.

Great pools, staff not so much

If you often stay in upscale places this will be fine but youā€™ll notice that staff is poorly trained. We arrived by cab and were held at the gate for more than 30 minutes while the guard said he couldnā€™t find our reservation. It was unpleasant and a hassle and I was pretty pissed off by the time we finally got to the hotel. The place is guarded like the Crown Jewels. We got out of the cab and the girl with the walkie talkie didnā€™t greet us or help us with our bags. A guard was right there and didnā€™t take the bags. Annoying. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and couldnā€™t believe the offhand attitude of the staff. Their main concern was money. Making a comment that beach towels would be charged to us if we didnā€™t bring them back to registration. Tacky. One bottle of water in the fridge with a note that thatā€™s it if you want more itā€™s 200p. Apartment was nice, good size, and pleasantly decorated. Not enough hot water to fill more than 4 inches in the tub. Pools are spectacular and are the main reason to stay Beautiful setting.

El Careyes lives up to its reputation

You have to be prepared to ā€œcampā€... or ā€œglampā€ a little .... feels very open and safe ... a few ā€œno see umsā€ And tiny ants. But very comfortable ... i would come back ... but with a group of friends !!! Beach is right there which is so nice.
