"The Holiday inn express had its quality it’s known for, the breakfast was amazing! But we could not secure a taxi and had to walk 20min with luggage to the hotel that was far from everything. It’s great if you have a car, but we did not, and public transportation stops long before the hotel. The staff were able to arrange taxis for the rest of our stay."

"I did a Expedia booking and payment at the same time as usually. Next morning the Hotel Staff or owner force me to pay another time explaining me they did only the deposit and start to show me different papers, I refuse to pay another time explaining him several times I already did the payment at that point he become very rude and kick me off the Hotel Hall. Breakfast was delicious and there is an excellent restaurant next door for dinner. Its an easy 15 minute walk through the park opposite to the town center and I felt very safe as a single female."

I was disappointed that the bar was not opened as it was advertised as having one. Maybe it is open during the Summer. As a solo traveller, I like the option of having a quite drink at nighttime at a hotel. However, this is a beautiful hotel, I enjoyed my stay and I will consider staying here again when I next visit Parma. "
