When the hotel says check in at 4pm only they mean it. As it was Sunday the little shops around did not open until 11am. Ocean hotel near buy opened at 11 am for breakfast, brunch, so we could at least eat something as our hotel has nothing. When we finally got into our room at 4:05pm it was okay. ...

The Royal Sonesta San Juan
Beautiful property. Restaurants on property were pricey. The breakfast buffet is $40pp. All food was delicious. Room smelled a little musty at first, but we were able to open the slider and get in some fresh air.
