Great location and clean apartment, which were definite positives. However, there was a strong curry odor throughout the unit that would not go away despite leaving windows open, running the AC, and using a fan. Unfortunately, this significantly affected the stay.
Customer service was very rigid and lacked understanding when dealing with unexpected issues or emergencies. Because of this, I would only recommend this place as a last resort, despite its convenient location.

We booked this hotel expecting a family-friendly stay, but the experience was the opposite. Upon arrival, surrounding streets were blocked due to a block party, making access by car extremely difficult. This was not disclosed in advance.
The noise was unbearable and continued into the evening. We were traveling with a baby who sleeps early, and the noise completely disrupted his sleep. Because of this, we did not stay at the hotel at all and had to leave and book another hotel to have a restful night.
What made the experience worse was the lack of response afterward. I called multiple times to complain and request a refund, but no one from the billing office returned my calls or messages.
This is not a family-friendly property, and the lack of communication and accountability was very disappointing. I would not recommend this property to anyone let alone to families or anyone seeking a quiet, restful stay.
Even one star is very generous.

This is an apartment in an apartment building, so no hotel type amenities but very comfortable and conveniently located. There is a coffee shop nearby and the unit has a furnished kitchen.

The only issue I had was the paperwork and communication was annoying. I had to fill out two different forms with basically the same information. I got 27 emails from booking to checkout. That was excessive. The place itself was fine. Easy walk to the restaurants and stuff.

The property has three elevators only one was working, the trash shoot was not working, on my last day, Friday, December 26 the smoke detector kept beeping, called maintenance. They came and changed the battery. Later that evening, the smoke detector kept on beeping and beeped the entire night and the rest of my stay Saturday morning.

Overall great.
Awesome building and location. Going through hotels.com created some complexity on the communication front. One big issue with this property is parking. You have to give them the details on your car 48 hour prior to arrival which is tough with rental cars.

Check in process bad experience. One of the two key sets did not work. Luckily I tried the key fob prior to going to the unit. I was not also given parking access when I communicated on the forms that were submitted. I called to sort out the parking. No response at all. Make sure to wash all the sheets and towels prior to using.

Could reach no one. Had to text or email and took hours to respond. Had to park outside in Downtown. Could never reach anyone for parking. To lower easement for 2 days before maintenance came out . Had to buy my own plunger. Front desk and concierge were no help.
The property is excellent and so are the apartments, but the check-in was terrible, I shared the apartment with a colleague who arrived before me and they did not let him in. I had informed the property the day before that he would arrive earlier and gave them his generalities. He even had a copy of my passport. In the end he had to book a room elsewhere for the night.

The bed was AWFUL! Nothing at all luxurious about it. The couch was broken, no one responds unless they want a form filled out or they want money. One elevator was working.
They wait until the last minute to give you entry instructions and check out instruction. The actual apartment complex will give you the keys but has nothing to do with renting it.

The "customer service" is HORRIBLE. There is no one to answer the phone, there is no sign out front to even find the "hotel" easily. What this place is isn't even a hotel. They are apartments posing as a hotel. It is basically an ABNB. They have a key scam going where they hand you an envelope with keys and then walk away before you can even examine what's in the envelope. Then when you realize that you haven't received all of the keys and notify the "concierge" he or she will not help you because "they don't handle that". The lost key cost is $350!!! You are also presented with a list of rules that is ridiculous. Something that had our company known about from the start we would never have booked here. I am already expecting a fight regarding the room condition (which is why pics were taken), and the key scam. Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is first an apartment building. We were given no information about the building. We asked the concierge where the pool was and he didn't know! There is a club right across the street that was so loud until 1:30 am! That's probably why they let it out as a hotel because no one will sign a lease. There were 3 different directions as to what to do with the keys at check out. I replyed to an email and never received a response. I called the number and they didn't pick up. We were given no instructions on the elevator. You need to scan the fob on the key chain to select your floor. We will not stay here again.

Very bad communication!
Check in was awful. When we got there, the concierge couldn’t find anything about our stay and spent 30 minutes+ on the phone going back and forth with someone named Maria. I had to show them receipts proving our reservation. From other reviews I tried to do my due diligence ahead of time by filling out the form and calling the number on the form but that obviously didn’t help. We asked for parking (extra fee) and due to the confusion we’re told we would get it the next day. We didn’t and that concierge person said she had nothing to do with it. There was a hockey game and no parking so we had to park blocks away. We did end up moving the car closer around 11 pm because we were worried that our car would get broken into. It’s 2 hr parking starting at 9 am so we figured we had enough time when we checked out. Nope. We got a parking ticket at 10:04 am. The apartment was nice be but not worth all of the trouble we had staying there. It is an apartment building and they are renting some of the units out but very disorganized!

Like the other reviewer said, it's really a tale of two halves: the pre-arrival communication was lacking but the property itself was super.
After making the reservation I got an email and text asking me to complete a Move In form. I had a question about the form, emailed the contact and got an immediate answer back. So far so good, but then I emailed the form back to the contact and nothing.
The next day I got another email and text asking for the form so I tried again and still nothing. Finally the property's leasing office called me and I was able to send her the form fine. Yet I continued to get emails and texts from GLS asking for that form every day for the two weeks leading up to my stay! This happened even after getting an email from them saying I was all set!
Finally when arriving at the location, I was told by the front desk that the leasing office wanted me to return both sets of keys to them via the front desk, but a letter in the room said I was supposed to leave one set in the room and turn in the other to the front desk when leaving. Unable to contact anyone on the federal holiday, I went with the front desk's instructions since the leasing office had been more responsive earlier. Fingers crossed I don't incur a lost key charge!
After all that the property was great! The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Right across the street is a food hall with nightly live music in an inviting open area that winds down at 9. But worth all that stress?

Upon arrival, there was no one at concierge to give me the key package. Phone their emergency number and no one called back. Phoned their office, spoke with someone who said they would get right back to me and nothing. Had to book another hotel for the night and now will have to deal with Expedia to hopefully get a refund.
