"I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Vendôme in Nice, and a huge part of that was thanks to Carla on reception. From the moment I arrived, she offered such a warm and genuine welcome that instantly put me at ease — something I really appreciated as a solo traveller. Carla was supportive, approachable, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and her kindness made me feel truly looked after. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such warmth and professionalism to their role, and the hotel is very lucky to have her. She is a real asset to the team. Because of Carla, I would happily return to Hotel Vendôme. For any future travellers: if you have the pleasure of being greeted by Carla, you’ll be in very good hands. She is a wonderful host and made my experience memorable for all the right reasons."

"The rooms themselves were exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and surprisingly quiet despite the festive market below. Daily housekeeping was perfectly timed, and the evening turndown service—complete with more sweet treats—was always a delight. The small in-room touches made everything feel elevated: a heated towel rack, umbrella, tea and coffee maker, a well-stocked minibar with snacks, two bottles of water replenished daily, a wonderfully comfortable bed, Chromecast for streaming, intuitive lighting, and plenty of outlets including USB ports. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was consistently excellent. The buffet offered a generous spread of French pastries, meats, fruits, cereals, and hot options like bacon, sausage, and eggs. You could also order a fresh Benedict, along with coffee or tea. The service each morning was friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: steps away from high-end shopping, excellent restaurants, the beach, the casino, and several museums. It’s the kind of place where staying 7–10 days feels not only reasonable but ideal if you want to experience everything Nice has to offer. "

"Great hotel in a great location just off the ‘Place Masséna’, which was very easy to get to via tram 2 from the airport. The welcome was warm and the staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel itself was very clean and the breakfast was superb, again with the staff being very attentive to your needs!👍 When leaving to come home we needed to to check out before breakfast started but we were presented a take away breakfast bag with coffee👍 Our 1st time to Nice and won’t be out last and when we return will definitely be booking the Best Western Plus Hotel Massena Nice. Could not recommend highly enough. "

"Lovely hotel that sits in the center of Nice. Walkable to the shopping district and tons of restaurants and it’s easy access to tram and train as well. The bed is comfy (really helped us with he jet lag) and the front desk staff are super very friendly and helpful. "
