"Staff were so so nice, great places to eat in the area, and despite there being so many end-of-summer concert goers in town, it was so quiet, I had no problem sleeping! Will definitely come back! "
"Very inexpensive and manager was friendly. Although my room had a slight smoke smell and no shower soap was available I'd stay there again because the room was available at the last minute for a bargain price. "

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego - Mission Valley
10/10 Excellent
"No refrigerator in the room. Door had marks on it like it had been kicked in. Hot water in shower was weird at times: warm after awhile but not hot. Room cleanliness was only a 8/10or9/10 vs 10/10 in my last stay over 9 years ago. In general I always dislike the gall of having to give any personal info out in order to get free internet. Just make it free, or simply bill the room.
Those are my only complaints and they would not stop me from staying at this hotel again. Great staff. Really nice. Great amenities. Great Pool(s)!!! The pools and jacuzzi are the best. Lobby is AMAZING. Located in a great area in town. ad a perfect stay and will stay again when in S.D."
"The staff is there for you, pleasantries for all! They recognize your loyalty when it counts, being fussed over isn't that important to me, just nice in rare occasions they are there when you need them."
"Nice enough for being outside the main downtown. Nice pool, and easy access to light rail.
Sink water pressure is pretty bad, but the shower pressure is somehow great."
