"The staff is what made my stay more pleasant. Everyone I encountered was happy, friendly and helpful. There was even an incident in the breakfast room where 2 guests were being quite distruptive and rude to the food clerks for things not being fast enough and the clerks were still very dignified and quick to assist them. They did a great job in managing the demanding guests while still staying pleasant and present. I appreciate all their efforts to keep the hotel running smoothly, it was a nice display of teamwork!"

"Not enough info on the hotel. Had hard time finding the place because confusion whether it is Rodeway Inn or Hotel Avenida. The description of being a boutique hotel is deception. Old run down hotel, no lobby, parking is terrible, room is dingy. "

"i’m not one to write reviews but our experience was so awful at this ‘hotel,’ that i feel compelled. to call this place a hotel is dubious. there was no one to help, billing themselves as fully automated, convenient for them not so much for the customer. there was loud noise late into the night being under a bar, the bed was very uncomfortable and had only a sheet, no extra blankets to be found anywhere. the shades didn’t keep the light or the noise from the street out. we knew we were in trouble when we saw the earplugs on the bedside table. we abandoned our next two paid nights because we didn’t sleep a wink. we were endlessly looped back to the bot olivia when we did try to get someone to talk to us. needless to say, they refused to return our money. "

"Occasional bugs would show up in the unit. No weatherstripping on the bottom of the entrance door so there’s about a quarter inch opening at the bottom so nothing stopping the bugs from outside from coming in. Unit is very basic, bed was comfortable."

"The “Hot tub” was a bathtub with jets .. it was false advertising.. and I can’t help but feel a bit ripped off.. expensive for a basic room with a bathtub."
