10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is in an ideal location, only a 15 minute walk into the city centre. Our room was in the new extension to the hotel. The room was very clean, big enough for 2 people with a very comfortable queen size bed and bathroom. The Air conditioning was a great benefit especially with this lovely summer weather we are currently having. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the choice of food at breakfast was excellent . Overall a very good choice of hotel and we would have no hesitation in staying here again if we visit York again."

"We were able to get into our room early which was a bonus. Room itself was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and shower was great. We opted for the included breakfast option which was really good. Hot and cold items and lots of selection. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We were able to walk to almost every place we wanted. It is also on the City Sightseeing red bus route (between stops 5 and 6) which we took advantage of. Also it was only a 15(ish) minute walk to the train station. Would recommend and definitely stay again."

"Excellent stay at this hotel (2 nights in July). We were especially grateful for the aircon which is far from standard in UK hotels. Everything was of standard you would expect from a property like this. Staff were impressive and the room spacious, tasteful and clean. Will be back on our next visit to the city."
