Nice small town with good restaurants, aquatic center, dog park, and river walk. Monarch ski area is a 30 minute drive. The town also has a Safeway and Walmart for groceries and essentials. Also a golf course and many beautiful historic buildings.

It is a nice little Colorado town with a good vibe. It is obviously growing as there is a lot of new construction. Downtown area is quite nice with lots of restaurants and shops and outdoor common space. The river is a main attraction in town.

Salida is a wonderful place! The Riverwalk is beautiful & downtown has so much to offer for shopping & dining. We scheduled several activities around the area & easily got to them from Salida. Definitely recommend the area!

"This place was awesome!!! I loved the setting. The staff was cordial and professional. Having all the different pools to choose from was fun. We loved sitting in the creek and find just the right temperature. Hummingbirds everywhere!"
