Amazing stay at this property. Fun atmosphere, great hosts, delicious food. So many options here to choose from, lodge, t-pee, glamping, Why stay at a regular hotel or motel when you can have a cozy experience at the goat farm!!

Delightful stay in a truly unique setting. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was amazing, hostess and host were helpful, and the animals are the stars of the show. Only slight negative was it’s about 15 minutes into Salida, so it is not in the middle or town.

Charming Inn with breathtaking views and more!

Mountain Goat Lodge is an absolute GEM of a bed and breakfast! Located at the base of the Sawatch Mountain Range, this charming inn is home to a small herd of friendly goats, a seriously fantastic breakfast spread and the absolutely most comfortable beds. We feel lucky to have found this incredible place and made sure to purchase their delectable homemade goats milk yogurt (10/10 recommend.) My husband and I cannot wait to stay again!!

This place is amazing. The lodge owners Gina and Darcy are incredibly hospitable. The ambience is extremely friendly, the service was top notch and the breakfast was delicious (especially the home made biscuits by Gina). You can soak in a hot tub taking in the Milky Way and pet all the friendly goats and a cow as well as walk the property taking in the scenic views of the mountains. Everything was clean and the decorations in our room were beautiful.

Our stay was superlative. The lodge is beautiful and comfortable and kept immaculate by the hosts. The hosts go out of their way to assure guests of a rewarding experience, sharing stories of their animals, who play a starring role at the lodge, cooking ample and individualized breakfasts, taking guests on scheduled or impromptu tours of their goat, chicken, llama farm. We also enjoyed the greenhouse where many herbs and flowers prosper. Our two days were restful and most enjoyable.

Great stay!

The hosts were welcoming but not intrusive during our stay. The lodge lounge, eating area and patio was set up comfortably with views of the farm and mountains. Breakfast with home made biscuits and gravy, fruit strudel and fresh ranch eggs was delicious. Beside good brewed coffee they have an expresso machine and would offer a variety of coffee drinks. There is a well maintained trail that goes in a loop around their property with views of Salida valley. About a 35 minute walk. Their farm has hens, ducks, llama, cow, goats and their dogs. Would visit again if we are passing through that way. We enjoyed the suite on the ground floor that we had.
