"Interesting check in process and very welcoming lobby with flavoured water, coffee and a candy bar! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The “courtyard view” is a strange interior area, but did let some natural light in. My only real complaint was the mattress. Comfortable in its own, but if sharing you could feel if someone was breathing too heavily. The opposite of do not disturb. Not a great sleep because of it. Otherwise, loved the robes, the bathroom amenities, etc. "

"We stayed here over the Easter long weekend and were genuinely impressed. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, from the clean, newly renovated room to the pool, friendly staff, and the convenience of having everything we needed close by. I was a bit hesitant at first because of some older reviews mentioning the room conditions, but it’s clear that everything has been updated, it all felt fresh and brand new. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve decided to make this a yearly tradition for our boys. Highly recommend!"

"The interior doesn’t look like the picture. Still old model. Fan in the bathroom is very loud. Breakfast is okay but dining room is very dark and not enough chairs."

"We had a very disappointing experience during our stay. I checked in on April 4th, 2026, between 10:30 to10:45 PM. When we arrived, the staff member was in the back room on her phone and asked us to wait. Shortly after, she came to the front desk and completed our checkin without issue. Unfortunately, things changed when we requested two additional towels, as the room only had two. The staff member became noticeably aggressive and condescending toward my wife. With a raised tone and wide eyes, she questioned, “Why do you need two more towels?” We explained that our four year old daughter and mother inlaw were also staying with us. She responded sharply, “You only booked for two adults.” At that point, I stepped in to de escalate the situation and clarified that it was likely an honest mistake in the booking, and that we were more than willing to pay any additional charges if needed. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, she walked into the staff room, returned with two towels, dropped them on the counter, and rolled her eyes as she walked away. This interaction was uncomfortable and unnecessary, and it significantly impacted what would have otherwise been a straightforward stay. "

"Our room was right beside the pool mechanical room, so I got to listen to the pool pump cycle all night. The room was awfully dark - easy fix, not sure why I they would leave it this way. The tv was held together by packing tape - really. Again, TV’s are cheap - why would they not fix this. The shampoo was empty? It’s pretty basic for a hotel to check these things daily - or at least it used to be. The sofa bed was unusable. My children took the mattress off and slept on the floor - and still it was awful. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Not here to bash on the hotel - but people should know. It’s run down. My wife and I stayed in the same hotel in Quebec City 6 months ago, and it was really pretty good - which is why we chose this place, in part. The Marriott right next door (shared lot) is being completely renovate by the looks of it - so I’m sure Homewood suites is next. My suggestion is to wait for that to happen. The one positive note was the the breakfast. It was clean, hot, and pretty decent - minus the coffee which was pretty bad. "
