"The staff is terrible. She owns a defunct neglected Manor and does not have a plan to refurbish. The room is a decrepit large closet. The bathroom is downstairs in a shared room. The REST of the house is off-limits and she stays there always. She yelled at me fkr walking down the stairs at night. This is awful. Stay away from here !!"

We had breakfast each morning, drinks and apps poolside, and a gourmet dinner for 2. Remarkably lovely. Property was 10 min walk from DDay sites. Hosts rented us e-bikes and we were able to effortlessly roam the countryside and villages. Highly recommend this gem. "

Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. "I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. Both Fred and Isabel were amazing! The location is perfect to visit all of the D-Day memorials. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
