Was an amazing trip back to the WW2 era when we entered the property. The owner was so welcominig and friendly and the optional breakfast were a delicious example of French and Norman cuisine.
We were greeted upon arrival and treated super! The property has the feel of Normandy and D-day. Great decor and staff.

This is a beautiful and Unique place to stay . It’s very clean and full of history. The breakfast was very good and when I mentioned I was celiac I was provided with gluten free bread safe in my own packaging from the bakery. It was close to the restaurants and the beach . We would definitely recommend staying here .
What a pleasant surprise to stay in a beautiful and conveniently located Inn to visit Normandy Beaches. I would definitely stay again if ii am ever in the area. We did not have the breakfast but it looked amazing. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic historical hotel. It was a history lesson right in front of us. Beside that we had Crystal and China glasses and cups. The rooms were better than excellent with all the comforts and more. The breakfast was great. We highly recomnend this place.
An exceptional hotel experience. Paul is a fantastic host with a deep knowlegde of the fascinating artifacts in this almost museum hotel. My kids (20 & 13) that it was the most interesting hotel they ever stayed at. It is an ideal base for exploring the D-day beaches. We would like to return!
Short stay unfortunately, but everything was great. We had the two room suite, which was decorated wonderfully to the time era. Host was very gracious. Hope to stay again when we have more time to explore the inn better!
If you love airplanes then this is the place. It’s a pilots dream. Fantastic art work and prints. A C-47 cockpit no less. Room was fine, comfortable, lots of stairs to floor 1.
Would stay agin for sure. The owner was very nice.
This place is awesome! Florence your host is just a wonderful lady, so happy, so friendly, and so welcoming! The breakfast is awesome. The room is awesome. And the place is full of World War III memorabilia which is so cool!
Delightful hosts! They have a passion for hosting and sharing their collection of WWII memorabilia. The location was perfect. It is about a block off the coast, restaurants, the museum and shops.
Fabulous hotel! A beautiful building that was once a mansion. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. Everything is very clean. The town is cute, and the hotel is a very short walk to the beach. The owners of the hotel or extremely kind and speak French and English. They’re breakfasts are fantastic!
We had the separate aile for our family. Great room with lots of history. Staff was amazing and always ready to help. Restaurant are 2 minutes away by walk.
Perfectly located near the beach and town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The entire house is decorated with items from D-Day and other historical pieces. A museum in itself. An incredible breakfast. You won't need to eat the rest of the day. Loved this place.
This is a beautiful building filled with aviation artifacts. There is even a cockpit in the breakfast room. Proprietor is a delight and service is excellent. Breakfast is amazing. Check out the sunken wine cellar in the breakfast room. Delightful!
Such a charming small hotel. Decorated in antiques and WWII memorabilia. The hotel is really more of a family run BnB. A very friendly family. Even the dog works by excorting guests to breakfast and if necessary by helping them eat. A couple of courtyard parking spots are available. The location couldn't be better being acdoss the street from the museum in Arromanches. Our room was surprisingly large too.
I was in France on business and snuck away for a weekend to Normandy. Normandy itself was great; the facilities and friendliness of the staff at DDAYS made the entire weekend wonderful. The hostess was marvelously charming, helpful, and just a wonderful human being. The facilities are marvelous. My room was beautiful. Overall, I'd say that Day Aviators Le Manor is a bargain at any price. I look forward to my next visit.
Excellent Stay! Paul and Anna have a very interesting property in Arromanches and are passionate about WWII aviation. Their collection of artifacts is creatively used throughout their lovely home. Paul gave us a tour upon arrival, and made us feel very welcome! The food and hospitality were just wonderful! This location was a good base for our museum excursions around the area. Our accommodations felt historical, comfortable and more than adequate. The home and hosts are just charming! With gratitude, Mel and Rosemary, TN, USA
This is a really interesting property for D Day aviation enthusiasts - the owner is a proud collector and shares his display openly throughout the property. The bathroom in our unit was modern and well appointed. The house is old and brings with it the challenges of trying to carry heavy suitcases up numerous winding staircases. This was too much for us so we had to leave our large suitcases in the car. Parking is a bit difficult if the pay lot is full but there is free parking about the equivalent of 3 blocks away. The property is secured at all times with a locked gate - make sure that you have a phone you can use in Europe for contacting the owner upon arrival for check in. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a memorable stay at this location.
The hotel is not really a hotel, but more of a BnB, just keep that in mind when you book. The Owner is exceptionally rude and not professional at all. The location seems decent, but with all the road construction going on there isn't a great way to get to the location and a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed when we were there. The owner wants to give you a full on tour when you arrive, so just be prepared for that even if you've had a long day of travel and just want to take a shower and sleep. She is very proud of her establishment, which is fantastic, but the tour could wait (we even asked for it to be done later, but she insisted). There are NO elevators, so lugging your suitcases up multiple flights of stairs is not enjoyable. The breakfast was the bright spot. They did have a great assortment and the breakfast was worth what they asked for it. Everything else... not so much.
Our stay at DDay Aviators was peaceful and perfect. The host was a WWII expert who gladly told us about all the DDay artifacts he and his wife had collected. The hotel was beautiful and our suite was well equipped. The lovely breakfast was ready each morning at the time we chose.
We will be back!
